Yes they are, I love it. Cheap but works really well. Might put some Reba Race forks on it next year.

Nice - I bought one of these frames and built it up as a SS commuter. Think you can lose some of the chain length though can't you? What are you using for a tensioner - difficult to see in the pics.

yes I can lose some of the chain length, I was just waiting for the cog and spacers. Speak of the devil postman just delivered it to me!
The tensioner is a Shimano tourney rear mech modified greatly to a tensioner by myself.

Excellent - perfect job for today. Good touch on all the red accents as well.

Snap. They look better if you chop off the canti studs.

canti studs can be unscrewed - at least mine could. They look like they're one piece as they're painted over, but get some molgrips on them and turn - takes a bit of effort.

Ah, fair enough. Mine's the alu frame - XC? Was all prepared to go with the hacksaw if they didn't unscrew!

yeah mine are welded to the frame, I might cut them of.
I had the XC03, the lightest one bar the arrow with easton tubing. But I cracked two of the frames, probably due to my rough riding style and them being light weight XC frames. Cant fault the service though, cracked one got a replacement, cracked another got the steel one as a replacement and was told we wont replace if you crack another because its not a manufacture problem which seemed reasonable.

It is sub 22Lbs and is still strong enough to be my regular bike. All hand me down parts, nowt fancy. They are very good light steel frames IMHO.

Question now, What else should I change to red parts, Im thinking superstar red carbon headset spacers, red seat clamp, red top cap? and paint the bottle cage red.

reweighed, about 32.2lb with snow, saddle bag and pump on. so I'm guessing about 30-31lb with none of them.
That's a 3-4lb saving by just going single speed! To make it even lighter I could get new forks, saving about 1lb-1.5lb and lighter wheels, saving about 1lb. I aint going to though 😛

Along with the chain links - I'd also lose that ugly retro derailleur protector. Oblique has it right.

Are these frames still available? - I was going to buy one last year and am kicking myself for not doing so as All Terrain don't seem to have any on sale now.

In-store they are in-stock, the website is not updated often. As far as I know they have loads. Ring them?
