[#3802422]

can anyone recommend me a single speed freehub (disk)?

I want to fit 2 wide spaced surly sprockets on back to back so i can run dingle speed. (if you run the surly sprockets built in spacers facing each other the spacing is more or less the same as the big ring to middle ring on an XT crankset.)

I guess the options are Hope, Chris King (both look lovely but very expensive) and Superstar, which is a lot cheaper. The superstar one has threads on the OD of the freehub body, which has confused me somewhat, the Hope one has them in the standard freehub ID position.

Are there any others to consider?

I used a White Industries DOS freewheel on a surly hub,

Worked very well and worked out cheaper than a hope or chris king and the quality is fantastic

I've got an on-one SS cassette disc hub about to go in for sale section. It has enough space to adjust chainline, I can check if it would take to Surly SS cassette cogs.
