Hi all,
Just fitted an MRP Mini G2 to my Orange Five and wanted some advice.
Firstly, have a look at the pic below and the angle of the guard, does it seem too extreme ? It seems it has to be at this angle because of the swingarm clearance. Pics of the guard on the net are more upright...

Lastly, I ordered specific single chainring bolts, however they were still too long so didnt tighten up the chainring, I have however used chainring spacers behind the nuts (see arrow) and this seems to work, is this OK/safe etc ... I think it looks gash but I cant think of what else to do ? is the SLX 10 speed chainring narrower ??

Thanks guys !
The narrow bolts will probably work wityh a dedicated single chainring, they tend to be a smidge wider than the regular rings.
As for swingarm clearance, think you're stuck. Straitline silent guide might suit the swingarm better, at a guess. The guide will work at that angle, but not ideal
Check chainbolts after a couple of rides, if loose apply some locktite.
The chainguide should be between facing between 12 and 13 clockwise.
Sometimes you have to grind som plastic to make clearence.
But as mentioned above, it will work, but not perfect.
