Are there any all mountain rims about in silver or gold rather than the more usual black or white?

Yer see, that's the problem, I'm struggling to find pedals as well, and after trouble with their BB's I'm determined not to line his pockets further.

On the other hand I could just peel the stickers off.

Lots of silver Mavics.
Not 719's though, which is annoying.

aren't the spank rims really heavy?

520g for the subrosa evo
470g for Stans Flow
530g Mavic En521

So it's in the right ballpark.

TINAS earlier....

That's the look I'm going for........
So far

Silver:
Frame
XT double 38/26 cranks
X9 drivetrain (probably get some gold jockey wheels)
nukeproof post and stem
spokes
Xt brakes

Gold:
pedals
chainring bolts
BB
hubs
rims
seat QR
headset spacers
bars (ragley wiser carbon, so actualy yellow/beige)

Black (because they dont come any other way ๐Ÿ™ ):
forks
internal headset
brake lever blades and hose
ritchey foam grips
tyres

White:
charge spoon (with orange lettering)

I considdered them, but CRC only have stock of the 2011 15mm ones, and 2012 ones are a lot of dough compared to buyiding something like the spanks on hope hubs.
