Does the colour of a tyre make a difference to its performance?
I mean, I am seeing all these road tyres in a variety of colours, and can't help but wonder if the compound doesn't actually display different qualities.

I know that Schwalbe used to say their Ultermo's were better in black than any other colour, not sure if this outweighed the fact that red is just quicker anyway.
