Heading out to Spain soon staying just north of Almería and will be taking the bikes, although it's not an exclusive biking trip. Was wondering if anyone could recommend any routes in Sierra Nevada (have booked a single days guiding), or more locally around Alfaix, GPX files would be awesome if anyone has them.

That's right in the heart of Ciclo Montana territory. The area is pretty well served on the strava heatmap.

If you've not booked your guiding with Marko at Ciclo Montana, do so. While you'll find some routes by yourself, Marko will link up the best trails up for you and give you some good chat too (apart from the rubbish chat).
