Hi,
Just done a lower leg service on a 2013 Sid Rct3.
Was going pretty straight forward until I put the legs back in place.
Compressed them to tighten footnuts and suddenly low speed compression adjuster and rod flew across the floor!
Found it and reassembled and it doesn't seem to do much.
The small allen key just unwinds itself.
Lockout works as it should.
Could pull the adjuster out with the rod and there looks like an allen key head at base, assuming this is just push fit?
Anyone know how these go in properly for adjustment?

you mean a part came flying out the top of the fork? Based on my Revs this happens if you compress the fork before putting the RCT lever and 10mm nut back on - that little 10mm nut holds the entire thing together. not sure about the SID but on the REV RCT3 assemble there are two little ball bearings and a small spring that sit inside the top of the shaft to provide the indexing and click for the low speed dial, these may have gone somewhere never to be seen again. COuld all be different for SIDs though.

Yeah,
The rod/needle with the low speed lever came shooting out.
The lockout etc was all tight.
Too me sounds like pressure build up at base of fork.
As far as I know there is no spring or ball bearing at the top as had it out before.
The lockout etc works fine.
Just the low speed compression has no adjustment, just is tight and when I go to turn it it just unscrews the small allen key bolt on top.
Probably hasn't located properly maybe?
Hopefully something simple?
Thanx,
Max
