As the title really. Can you put the RCT3 damper from a SID (or any SID damper for that matter) into a Sektor? Looking at Rockshox' own pictures they seem to be the same size and length, but the parts numbers are different in the catalogue.

I swapped a Sid damper into a revelation on the recommendation of The uk distributors. I was told as long as the oil level was right it would be fine. Should be 10-15ml above the bottom of the damper when installed. Don't forget to measure the depth of thread in the CSU and take this into account. Happy trails 😀

My Sid damper was shorter than rev damper hence getting oil levels right

Thanks! I couldn't get past whether topping up the oil would be enough, or if there was something I was missing.
