Was thinking about riding today but unsure of the ground conditions. Have a bad feeling it will be thick mud. Was thinking of going to hopton. Haven't been there yet so fancied a spin. Any news on the mud levels?

Rode on the Long Mynd yesterday and it was a little muddy in places but not as bad as I had expected.

Well I rode hopton xc after a week of dry weather. Was still muddy. Now it has rained loads....

The worst bit at Hopton will be the first mile or so out of the car park - which will be very slippery - and the bit back from Mereoak...
I'm going shortly anyway.
