Hi Shredder

I bought some Ian Brown tickets from you ages ago. Do you and your mates still ride from Thackley? If so I've got a request ๐Ÿ™‚

Is there any chance of y'all giving that lovely path that leads to the field to the canal a really good haircut.. You know the one, it's nearly overgrown with gorse! Me and my mates look after Bingley but I haven't time to do Thackley too.

Obviously you are free to say 'sod off'.

Yes still here and still riding from Thackley not 100% sure which track you mean ? Wheres it starting from and ending on which bit on the cut ?
Of course we can trim it for the Bingley boys just need to get my mates doing the same over the border in Calverley !

Life's good. Just settling into fatherhood (22months..) but still riding most weeks ๐Ÿ™‚

It runs from near those dirt jumps in Dawson Wood up a steep little grunty climb (I never clean it!) before twisting it way down to a stile. Used to be fun but it's fast disappearing and getting dangerous due to no clear lines of sight. Needs a really vicious cutting back over winter.

Who are the Calverly boys? And which paths over there? You never know they might be up for it..

We've broken ground on new, official trail at St Ives. Bradford Council are really open to us riders using their land as long as we are respectful of other users. If you got any ideas or time they are open to idea's ๐Ÿ™‚

Congratulations mine is 8 going on 18 ! Same here out 3 or 4 times a week.

Know where you mean now you look down on the railway line on the right, down through the field to the cut near Toby's caf. Will clean it up a bit for you.(same with that little climb catches me at the top every time !)

We have been riding over to St Ives a bit along and through Hirst wood side of the river to the ford at Beck foot and up and in. Would be good to perhaps meet up one time as would love to know / explore all that side. Did a version of Bingley Bash years ago. Saw the thread on the forum on the new digging sounds great, will keep an eye on Singletraction web on dig days. Also curious about Heaton woods but perhaps off forum.

Just one of the guys I ride with lives in Calverley and I'm forever ribbing him he needs to do a bit of trail clearing. Wish some one would sort the track in Esholt that leads out to Harrogate rd near the JCT600 head office we know it as fly alley. Used to be great years ago all year round now it's a mire
