[#206061]

I personally have had a brilliant weekend. Yesterday rode from Edale, Hollins Cross, mam tor, rushop edge, Hayfield, Jacobs Ladder. Very Very Ice, The ladder was sheet ice for about 10m in places, which made climbing harder, and descending even more fun.

Then today decided to put the DH hat on and go for a play at Wharncliffe woods. Totally different in terms of grip/terrain, yesterday i had no grip due to ice, today no grip due to ice melting and creating mud. Seemed very busy, lots of DH chaps knocking around.

Anyways, a few shots, all taken from phone so poor quality etc...

40 miles around the Rhondda yesterday, it was only meant to be a quick spin.

Scratch - Wow! I noticed the Beacons were iced up the other day, but didn't think there was anything like that in Rhondda.

This was Middle Wales, last weekend.

The Rhondda's a dark horse as far as riding goes.

Great view looking into Borrowdale and Bassenthwaite valleys

Very observant steveh, both locations near Stanage as you said.

It's a pity there aren't more winter days like that here, didn't even have to bother cleaning the bike afterwards ๐Ÿ˜€

gingerflash, nice set of the 'cross nats. Do you let the flash fire at full power? I usually set mine to -1 stop so it acts as fill-in.
