Your idea of a right good laugh is looking at something you claim not to like....
Your right, I don't like them. But it doesn't stop the fact that they are funny to look at.

They ride great though.
Just like your mom. ๐ฏ ๐
She's funny looking too. Knew you 29er fanboys were freaks.
I rode mine with a skinny front wheel today for the first time. Wow - talk about responsive in the twisty singletrack ๐ Much more so than my 26er. It's a myth that 29ers suffer from slow steering.

where is the other wok jockey anyway ?
is he still in russia ?
He's on his way home now.
Ask him about the taxi drivers in Moscow.
I think he got a bit scared. ๐
do they like red heads over there then ? ๐
anyone got/ridden a santacruz tallboy? those rad doodz at dirt have had a couple of articles saying how good it is. onyl by 3rd party contributers so it cant come back to bite them, obviously.

slowrider - Memberanyone got/ridden a santacruz tallboy?
My LBS are getting one in for me to try out.
Or so I've been told by another customer...
there have been a couple tallboys on here, quick search should bring them up
Mine: at Devils Dyke today, on one of my favourite trails.
I was going to say - well I've never seen another Jones on the trails - but I bumped into Napalm, with his, on the Downs today - so I can't even say that.
However - I think mine is the only non EBB Fat Spaceframe out there, ah....... niche at last ๐
Stripped for a respray....
What is it??
looks suspiciously inbred like...

Not with that cable routing and EBB
Who sells Jones in the UK?
Jones are direct
FRC ooh on the downs! that trail looks like sharon... give me an email if you fancy some south downs niche riding....
Best to talk to Jeff Jones direct - he's quite happy to discuss his bikes over the phone.
JRTG - I didn't know it was called Sharon ๐ Ran my Endo at 6psi today - I think I've found the sweet spot.
The steel Jones look nice. Anyone ridden one (I expect not)?
FRC, whoops i think sharon is on the other side of the valley! (everyone likes going down on sharon....hence it's name). 6psi, not bad!
Clink.
I think Biff has a steel Jones.
Clink,
For some reason my original reply has gone ๐ its a Pofahl
i mquite open to the idea of a 29er though ive never tried one. got a feeling they wont suit what i like to do though which is shorter rides with plenty of nadge. i get they are more suited to distance, all day type stuff rather than hooliganism? be honest, can you throw them around like a tough trailbike?
be honest, can you throw them around like a tough trailbike?
I cant but thats rider not bike limited, try one (or lots) out you may be very surprised
yeah i intend to at some point, dont know anyone who rides one so ill have to book a demo or two.
