[#11117197]

We've only two road/gravel/CX/hybrid bikes in the household.
Seems 2.4 gnarcore tyres and 170mm travel don't feel so good on roads, forest paths and the new secret mini-trails area the oab-household is now riding.

This morning coffee break therefore saw me swap 2.4 MountainKing and 2.3 Goma for 2.1 XR2's for mini gravel bike mode.

So, whatcha riding/adjusting/changing?

Still going out on the Turbo Levo

Killing two birds with one stone and exercising the dog at the same time.
She is dropping in quicker than me

Seen a big uptake over here with a record that I've seen of 19000 individual users on a weekday night.

It's been well into the 22k range at times I think.

My first ride on Zwift last week showed over 23k, haven't seen lower than 21k since then and I've been on it most days.

I usually ride between 20:30 and 22.30 after little one is in bed and me and the wife have had tea.

Usually I note about 9k users at that time most nights.

The last month/6weeks has noticed a large increase.

-even of my "friends" on Zwift/Strava. I notice they are showing more activity even those that are usually outside bar the darkest of icy winter time.

Basically everyone except raddogair who like the stig doesn't accept the internet as a concept.

My lockdown bikes (rigid Cannondale 29er and rigid Fatty) are in Weymouth. I'm not, so have my SS and my new PlanetX road bike. Fun enough but not what I really want to be doing right now.

This is my everything other than MTBing bike. It’s even seen the odd CX races, which is what it is meant for. But I ride it on the road, gravel, up at the local woods etc. It certainly doesn’t replace the fun of MTB, which is why I’ll be out on that this weekend, but for everything else it’s been great 🙂

No need to adapt, I’ve managed to fill all the niches I have space for in the garage...road, commute, CX, gravel, SS road. There’s a fine line between them, but it’s there if you look really really really close.

Went out on the BFe on Saturday. Felt ok to the extent that i thought I might only use it during the shutdown, if a little light at the front end.
Woke up the next day feeling like I'd been kicked in by a horse - **** that for a game of darts.

HB.160 Mon, Tue and today. Much more civilised.

Been riding trails I used to ride when I first started MTB-ing in 89.

Stuck a bottle cage and bell on the full sus as mainly doing short laps of the ‘suddenly full of walkers’bridlepaths locally for my daily excercise. Missing the hills that’s for sure.

I'm still riding the same bikes but really hoping my Timberbell that I ordered from STW turns up soon as there are a lot more walkers around as a) virus and b) I'm riding in the Pentlands and not the Tweed Valley
