I really like 19s. Then the Souls, then the Sanderson.

Those sandersons are nice. That grey primer is on the list of possible respray colours for this, whenever I get it done, along with poo brown, the apple green that Orange are using at the moment, and a dark metallic grey.

Hopefully this worked. I still need to shorten and re-route the hoses, and cut the steerer (way too many spacers on atm) otherwise it's finished.

So many 'premium' brand hardtails in this thread

Right, my collection of cheap tat (fugly) hardtails:
If only I could include the FS to raise the (low) standard

[img] [/img]
Still thinking of swapping the frame for narrow tubed steel something

[img] [/img]
A 'play' bike. Frame bought with 72% off, most* bits were lying around going spare
*except grips and BB. Since bought new stem and bars
And yes, I know the colour scheme is far from pretty

[img] [/img]
Bought secondhand for commuting with steps/curbs in mind with 80psi narrow slicks. Now does occasional lighter/shorter offroad rides
Thinking of respraying, though don't know whether I'd be better off putting money toward a nice steel frame instead
Currently undergoing 'transformation' to 1x7. Can't decide whether to use a 7spd gripshifter lying about, or an 8spd trigger shifter and bodging it

H'mm that's quite a lot in about 10 years. Still have the DMR, Kilaueu and the Cove. Only thing I really shouldn't have sold was the Switchback. Had a lot of fun on that bike.

ton, should think BigSi's forks are manitou minute 29s, air sprung, 80, 100 and 120mm variants, although not sure if the 80s have bolt thru

i've got a pair of 80mm QRs on my race bike, and have just got a pair of 26" 120 bolt thrus for my solitude, lovely forks - very light for the travel. no sure what effect a 'bigger' guy would have on the flex though, if it matters to you (not that mine are flexy (or not that i've noticed...))
