I've posted this a few times before, the frame's just turned 9 years old, but I still love it as much as the day I got it.

Thanks dusty & scott.

It now has a pair of polished XT hubs (thanks velosolo) and white DT rims, awaiting a good clean before it enters the photo studio ๐Ÿ˜€

Mudguards make the bikes look ugly... At one point I was swapping frames every 3-4 months to try something different. I was actually getting quite quick in swapping bits.

My Soda, complete with matching blue Hope headset, seatclamp and hubs, and 130mm Revs. Absolutely love it, although slightly stiffer forks at the front (torsional stiffness) might not go amiss.

This one was really too small for me but I'd always wanted a Merlin
[img] [/img]

Bought this next to see if I would get on with a long(ish) travel hardtail
[img] [/img]
[img] [/img]

Having decided I liked it a lot a year later I swapped the bits on to a Soda frame
[img] [/img]

Then had a hankering for suspension again
[img] [/img]

And now decided to try a single speed

My current 3...

My Maverick ML7.2

[img] [/img]
My Genesis Altitude

[img] [/img]
My Giant Reign X

Love them all in their own special ways!

Here's one from a few years ago though, hopefully Mamadirt might appreciate this one... Was a very sweet bike, shame it didn't suit much of my riding at all!

so how many of these are actually built? as opposed to 'hung parts off a ready made frame' i was hoping to see bike frames welded together by the owner, someone must have been on the Dave Yates course?

My mate Konahead did the Dave Yates course, end a result was a very clean looking 853 hardtail, lovely welding and a nice build. I've not seen him ride it yet though!

Not a comprehensive list, I worked out that I put a new frame together with bits at least once every three months, but ones that I have photos of.
