[#1181681]

Have ordered a new five and spoke to Orange this morning and I can have the hope bits in any colour.

Im thinking the frame is white so I may get Blue headset, BB and Hubs, Not sure whether this will look a bit tacky or not. What do you think?

Maybe just keep hubs black and do HS and BB in blue.

Pics of white and blue bikes welcome of course.

Try the link again. I don't think I had the sharing facility set right. Hopefully sorted now.

I'd go for it. With blue floating rotors it will look even better.
But I'd also not go with the blue rims, that's just a bit too flash.

silver looks nice with white, could get a silver thomson post and stem too. not too 'flashy' then...

Blue and white look pretty cool but if you're not sure about totally commiting, what about gunsmoke instead? At least then you have the option of it co-ordinating with another colour change in the future.

Gunsmoke floating rotors . . .

Yes I know mine is like an explosion in a paint factory . . . mainly white, red and gunsmoke/pewter but I have to incorporate my orange fetish in there too 😉

I'm still trying to get how the brakes work on that 29er. 😯

Worked very nicely on my white Inbred (until I replaced it with a green one, then it worked slightly less well!)

A pair of 2009 singlespeed / trials Hope QR hubs in blue laced to some nice EN321 rims anyone...? 🙂

Oh Arse not got the blue / gunsmoke decision to make.

Might just go black after all.

Its taken me 3 weeks to decide on frame colour!
