Working on dropouts.
anyone in the evening crowd ?
what sorta ratio of the price are we talking for a steel one and what kinda weight ?
waiting for steel one here...
There's this one, which looks really nice
you can see 'mine' again if you really want to...
i know yours - i was looking for that thread to lust over those pictures again but i thought it was adly hobart and couldnt find it ! thatll be why....
i love mine.. should be great with a alfine,, might wait for the 11 speed one to come out unless I find a bargin 8 speed setup
hmmm alfines just dont hold the same appeal to me for durability - you might kill me for this but the idea is for this to be a ride to work daily bike that just keeps coming for more - then potentially be the bike im used to that my physiology suits and is honed just for me to plough in the miles (new commute is going back to 20miles like the good ole uni days)
A beautifully crafted ti (or maybe steel) commute bike?
Good grief man I hope your ride to work is over the Corrieyairack Pass ๐
waiting for the bike fairies to leave a Pegasus under my pillow
nah not just for commute - but i want to down stream a bit .... get ride of 2 SS bikes and possibly my current roadie trainer.
of course by down stream i mean replace ....
want a posh carbon roadie sometime next year. and probably one of thse
will be looking to use the td for commuting/training/audaxing/all day mtb(with a tire change-itll still be lighter than my current road bike) .... my aim is for the TD - that is the tour divide - i also noticed that my initials are TD also ....or is that a tenuous link too far for a reason to buy one ?
buchan and formantine way "should" be my new commute
merida will still be no-1 race bike due to its silly light weightness and hooning capacity
