Took mine to Dalby at the weekend, used to be my usual hangout but 18months had passed this time. Loved the salsa! It's got an RF next carbon Seatpin and an slr team saddle on since the pic and I've some syntace carbon bars coming this week. Just need some Maxxis beavers tyres and I'll be in the 20lb area I reckon. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just purchased a Pace RC129 complete with their fork, currently sat in box, waiting till next pay day to begin the build. It's replacing a Cannondale Trail SS, which is ok, but the EBB is just the work of the devil.

here's my salsa el mariachi...I think it looks trick - but I am biased!
took it out for a first proper spin last night, loving the simplicity of singlespeed and no nasty gear grinding!

Painted it myself ,had it shotblasted then covered in etch primer, Final colour coat is Ford Nordic Blue.
Was done with Rattle cans from Halfords and lots of elbow grease.

Time for something properly niche ๐Ÿ™‚

My (successful) experiment in ultra short stay / slacker head angle / longer fork rake. When manufacturers say a bike has short chainstays, have a look at the gap of truth between bb shell and tyre.....
