No fairies or breakages. My brother took a shine to it when I took it out to the USA last month and so in a fit of stupidity (in no part influenced by the extra, quite heavy, suitcase of stuff that my wife had bought in the US which we were bringing back, obviously) I decided to leave it for him.

The good thing is because my wife believes the main driver for me leaving it was the difficulty in bringing an extra suitcase of stuff back with us, I have basically been given a free pass on purchasing a replacement with no "another bike?" type comments allowed.

Nothing unusual about it, but I really, really like it. A lot.

Now featuring 2009 Reba SL's and a blue Spanky spanky tweety tweety seatclamp - because it's just a singlespeed, hack about bike... ahem.

Yeah well, the others are a bit classy ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ah - the legendary Swinley - looks fun; I can see the attraction.

You're right, there are some really quite sweet bikes on this thread (but I am very fond of my little Inbred). The hub's just a regular Hope Trials / SS one - and it works better than a bell too with dog walkers!

It now has a collar to match the cuffs with a new Spank one in 29.8mm in the same blue as the Hope - which was nice. The Middleburn Ti self extracting bolts on the cranks aren't quite as good a match, but not far off. Like I said - just a hackabout singlespeed... hmmm.

Are your forks white or silver?

Hope hubs are good ... even if they annoy some folk!

You have obviously gone to a lot of trouble with colour co-ordination. Pretty classy for a ss!

My forks are silver, some old Fox's that I bought off the Classifieds and they are really good.
