Wow- thats a, erm....unusual build you have there Gav... 😯

I guess you have it that way for a good reason, but the long stem (with a rise), hi-rise bars and a layback post..mmm.

Interesting also that you really need a low clamp front mech - high clamp makes for a big angle change for the front cable.

Same issue with Mrs B's

Minion front and HR rear, geto tubeless. I`ve only had one in the rear that didnt seal as the sealant had gone to a coralised lump.....Grip is good and the minion got a good writeup in MBUK.

just built recently, swapped my 456 in baby blue (for sale) for this.

Summer frame, powdercoated in metalic black and rebranded as Slacker.

Guess where/when 🙂

Liked mine but I do prefer the standard inbred (just a touch faster handling)

Does this sound ludicrous? A 6footer on a 16" 456? Rode a 18" Inbred and found it too stretched out.

Hora, I would think that a 16 would be a bit small. I am 5'10" and have a 16 summer season and a 18 single speedslot. The 18 has a 70mm stem on which makes the reach ok. I went for the smaller summer season to use as a bike for riding peak district and places like lee quarry so wanted it a bit smaller. the 18 is fine though, used for local riding - lincs fields and woody singletrack stuff.

I know but I found the (newer) Inbred 18" too long/too stretched out (23.7TT)- the 456 is 23.5 so not much in it?

Ps. Theres only 2-3 inches in it between you and me? My instep is 32/33inch.

no, nothing in it. the 75mm stem on the smaller one makes it about the same. the super slackness of the summer season makes a lot more difference. Feels like it could smash over everything (shame i can't ride that well though). It is bloomin heavy though!

very cheap build thanks to the STW classifieds and the bay! Cost 1/5th the price of my Meta and I love it just as much!

Broke my DH bike so had to make do with my 456... was at least as much fun. Yesterday rode it for 8 hours in the Gorges du Tarn, including over 5000' of height gain, very good bike...
