Arthitis at the base of my thubs is beginning to make riding on the hoods on drop bars uncomfortable even with lots of padding etc. Flat bars can cause other aches .
Couple this with an inclination to add hydraulic discs to my Cotic X and the inability to leave well alone I fancy playing a bit.
The general theme should be non standard "drop" bars , posibly using the Campag Ergos I have or swapping to bar ends and hopefully some less than conventional braking systems. I have a pair of Midge bars that might be a starting point.
As messing around with bikes is part of the fun and there are others to use whilst messing, the charm of playing with oddball kit is also part of the projects.
So what have you got. I saw several i9nteresting setups at the HONC, mostly on SS Singulars.
