Need some ideas as too much gear in the cupboard messes my head up and I don't know what I want on it. Pics please!

no pics on this computer, but have run vanilla 125, Pikes for Alps and getting lairy, and back to the vanillas again for all day lighter weight

vanillas were fine, then the Pikes were ace and confidence inspiring, but now on another bike, looking out for some more or 36's

it's not a bad bike with the vanillas, just have other plans for them now

No pics but 36s here, wouldn't have it any other way, it's as fun as can be plus climbs well and rides all day.

Replaced the Pikes on mine for 150mm Marz Z1s, slacker HA is much much better on downs but serpantly less quick though the twisties. Lyrik Uturns or Fox 36 TALAS would be ideal.

original build now changed quite a bit-

So old Talas or old Z1SL 150mm?

I did have AM1s, which were great (and still are on the Alpine. Then Am2's which were sturdier but never got performance right until they were nicked. Picking up some Pikes tomorrow which I think I'm gonna like. MZ's were very long which was good for DH but madness anywhere else (ETA = v. good).

150m Z1 sl on mine, lack of travel adjust limiting but a superb fork and proper made Italain jobs. Bolt upaxle a pain. Gotta be better fork than old Foxiz though.

I'd say anything and eta or wind down will be helpful if you do long steep climbs.

Used to have AM2s (130mm) with ETA, were great but a bit under-forked for DH trails out here.

Now running U-turn Lyriks. Perfect, but the ****ers are leaking on me...

Pike U-Turns, fantastic, but wish I could afford a Lyrik U-Turn or 36 Talas:
