NOT mine, but it does make me want an NS Surge quite badly!

Found on Pinkbike the other day, when I was looking for pics of the Surge...

Never a problem with the forks, though I do use the talas on steep/long uphills - but I think it helps been tall (long arms/legs), I can really ride the 'front'

120 seems to be the sweet spot for the kenesis decade, personaly I went for revelations with maxel at 120mm.

Over half a kg in differnce, not to mention the price gap!

Seem to remember it was a bit crap to ride, but looking at the photos I can see why 🙄 (way too many stem spacers for a start!)

How long ago did you get rid of that Kit? I remember selling you that frame all the while back! I was tempted to build it up myself, but needs musted at the time, so I had to pass it on to pay for other things...

Really? Wow! I didn't remember who I bought it from. I sold it on about 3 years ago and replaced the frame with a Reign. Didn't really get on with it, but it did introduce me to longer travel 🙂

how easy would it be to drop my 36 van r's to 130? im liking the idea of hardcore singlespeed decade virtue/virsa

i've seen people cut springs and replace with spacers. how does that work though?

I don't think it's particularly easy to mod the Vans (or really a great idea myself)...

Worth a try asking on southerndownhill forum..
