I'm enjoying it so much I'm not even worried about any brickwork/decking/gravel/weeds/tyrelogo-rim misalignment issues ๐Ÿ™‚

Some of these are VERY nice, particularly like the orange giant and the cannondale.

Here is mine, waiting for the train home after the Darlington round of the NECCL on Sunday gone (obviously i took the pump off for the race ;0)

yeah, I prefer the bright colours of the 06/07 ones. The blue 09 one just doesn't look as good somehow....

STATO I saw you (well your bike really) at Darlo. was going to race but full of cold(sniff/coff) so wimped out, and pit-bitched for my mate. Thought it was abit unusual to see a surly at a cx race

Nice to see that there are very few bikes on here with chicken levers fitted.

Yeh Ian I was up at Whitelee last Saturday with my son - the place was packed. We rode for about 90 minutes just messing about. He was struggling in the strong wind though. The place has huge potential though. Plan on riding the spine road on my road bike on Friday.

Gary_M - I haven't been up there since they finished off the roads - is the spine road an ok surface now for road tyres ? will make a nice change to your commute !

I asked the guy in the visitor centre and he said it was tarmaced the whole way, which is about 6 miles I think from the Eaglesham road entrance to the sub station off the road near Auldhouse. If I get the chance to ride it on Friday I'll post on here. Should make a nice loop though.

....spine road is around 20km end to end (or at least it was when we were supervising the layout and early stages of construction of it.... -) ๐Ÿ˜†

mtbmatt - it's 42-19 on there at the moment which is a bit big but it's what I had. 38-18 is my more normal cross gear.

....spine road is around 20km end to end

Someone told me that Iain and I though they meant there and back. So thats 26miles of car free tarmac riding then.
