Wrecker - loving that Argon 🙂

Can't say I'm surprised you need massive tyres though - bet that's stiffer than <insert stiff reference of choice here>!

Some very nice bikes in this thread, here's my newly finished Stanton switchback.

Thanks!

It is, and that's one of the main reasons I bought it. I wouldn't be upset if it were even stiffer!

Ash, how does the switchback cope with uphill/decent length xc type riding? I'm interested but concerned that since its slacker than a slack thing it could be a bit wandery? Whether I'll use it to its full potential is another thing entirely!

I'm not too sure about any decent length ride at the moment, only finished it Monday morning and took it to the FOD for a quick blast that afternoon. From that first ride it was a little wandery on the climbs but the fork is at 150mm at the moment and th frame is recommended for 140. Once I got used to it and adjusted my body position it was fine at climbing, it won't get you to the top the fastest but coming down was really good, way better than I expected to be honest.

Everyone- it's on road cleats, a decent length stem, black bar tape and traditional wheels now. It looks much better.

The mountain one, albeit now with a drooper and about to get some Chinese carbon wheels..

[img][/img]

And the new road one which looks lovely and rides very nicely indeed. (Pointing is the neighbours)
