[#1265973]

Been thinking about adding a 'London fixie' type bike to my collection for a while, googling around the web I came across this potentially [url=

deal from Stif...

[img]

What does the STW massive reckon? Obviously I'd fit a front brake straight away, no way I'm riding in London without proper stopping power! 😯

£30 for postage by Stif seems a bit steep? I wonder if I could arrange my own courier pick up...

mere days after starting a sell off to pay down debt, psycle finds himself irresistably drawn to buying more stuff.

I hope you don't end up like [url=

they're £599 though aren't they... £299 for a complete new bike is very tempting...

No. No. No.

Fixies are soo last year! (And therefore prime target for the bike thieves of any town)

My current "nip around town" bike is one of these;

Perfect for the odd dash around town and happily left locked anywhere.

All the cool kids are riding them.

I can't see any basis for charging £599 for that thing, so I'm not convinced £299 is a smoking hot deal. Sorry! 🙂

I'm not cool enough to be up with the cutting edge of fashion, I like to stay a season behind!

btw, would you be interested in a London Enduro rider meet up monsieur CFH? Don't you head out to Wales fairly regularly, would you be interested in a fellow E150 aficionado joining you? 🙂
