Im toying with the idea of moving on from my 2005/6 heckler, to get something a bit beefier. I do the occasional trail centre but mainly singletrack a bit of downhill and quite a bit of jumps and drops. Not massive but my biggest drop to date is about 5ft, my bike always seem to fine. But I am now wanting to go bigger, do I need to upgrade or what beatings can these bikes take?

Just crack on. Wouldn't say you need bigger like.
If you want a new bike then get a new bike, just doesn't need to be bigger.
