Hi ice just been changing my shimano 11 speed cassette to my new wheels with a shimano free hub.

The first 3 big rings are fine but every cog down from that have a bit play. If I move them with my hand I can get them to slightly move left to right.

Is this normal? I can't remember if they had play in these cogs previous. .

Pretty sure the lock nut is tight, I've gived it a good turn with the adjustable. It is to bare in mind the cassette is getting on a bit but has good life init.

Thanks

hmm I could have but I have two black spacers and a silver ring type spacer and I am pretty sure I haven't lost anything.

Maybe I haven't put the spacers in the right places or maybe I had a spacer missing before.guess I'll need to see if I can find out

Last time I did this, I'd missed out a whole sprocket.

Take it a apart and make sure it looks like the ones in here with the spacers

If it's not XT or on the list you can search here for the dealer manual

Thats very helpful I did that and can conform everything was correct.

I'm running a shimano m8000 XTR 11SPD cassette and pro 4 and according to this thread others have had issues making these parts work together.
