Okay, so I understand that we ride with baggy shorts partly for a bit of protection from brambles etc, but for those of us a little bit challenged in the inside leg department, the Endura range are all just too damned long; does anyone know of shorts that are about 7 - 10cm shorter, to stop all that flapping about the knee business while pedalling - please?
PS. Aren't the trails (UK, Berks Downs mostly) absolutely blooming lovely now!!!
Just goes to prove that you can't suit all the people all the time.
In true STW contrary fashion, I find Endura shorts too short as there's a massive gap between the bottom of my singletrack shorts and the top of my kneepads. 3/4 Humvees are about right (worn as standard length) and just nicely cover the top of the pads but not the knee joint when seated pedalling.
No help at all, I know. Just made me chuckle.
I've always had the 'posh' Decathlon shorts (900 series, around 30 quid) - I don't like baggies so I size down to an S to get the length right (ie above knee, about the same as bib shorts) and they're stretchy so they still fit width-wise.
Zymes through the Winter, Singletracks through the Summer works for me.
PS. Yes they is. I done a five and half hour ride first thing this morning, gonna do another tomorrow.
Try the children's sizes.
The OP earlier...

Thanks, much obliged folks; I've ordered the Decathlon ones, we'll see how we go.
🙂
