Looking at pressing the button on a very reasonably priced alloy seatpost for a Soul build.
It's a small (16) soul and I'm just over 5'7". The seatpost in question is 350mm - anyone have any idea whether I'm likely to be flirting with the minimum insertion and increasing the chances of a mangled arse for the sake of a few quid for the longer one?

I'm 5'10 and had a small BFe, and needed something like 380mm of seatpost, maybe a bit more. So I suspect you'll be alright but it'll be close, and depend on leg length.
Personally I'd buy the longer one, you'll never regret having too much seatpost.

I may die horribly if the budget for the build goes up any more, but I suspect you're right!
