I have bought a second-hand hope mini with a goodridge hose. the hose is too long. I am used to shortening the standard 6 mm hoses. are the goodridge ones the same or do you need new olives etc?

Anyone help?

Ta

All the goodridge fittings are reusable.

You need to trim a little of the plastic coating off to get the collar over the hose.

The fittings are all reusable and the hose doesn't have an olive, you have to screw the first part of the connector into the hose then tighten the second part of the connector to the hose with 1st fitting attached. It is easy to do, but best done with all brake parts off the bike whilst shortening as it is much easier.

This is for the Hope fittings but the procedure is the same for cutting & trimming the hose
