[Closed] Shock size - If I require a 200x51mm shock...

It will fit straight on. The trouble will/may come once the shock has travelled past the 51mm mark. Does the suspension have room for extra travel?

Thanks legend. I haven't purchased the frame but have the 57mm shock. I'm thinking surely there must be 6mm clearance to play with before linkages start hitting tubes. I might buy it and see.

The linkage may 'bottom out' before the shock does, which may lead to you snapping some sort of linkage. Really depends upon the design.

Worked a charm on the Blur 4x too, I'm told - the extra 6mm bumped it up to around 130mm travel.
