i recently purcahsed a new frame with a rock shox monarch rear shock, whae i tried to pump it up with my fox pump it woouldnt screw on far enough to open the valve, on looking at the end of the valve pin sits about 1.5mm inside the valve stem, whereas the fox sits flush, is this something to do with rockshox wanting you to buy their own pumps or is it a fault with the shock

the valve might not be all the way in, try tingeing it a littel, worked for me.
