Hi all,

Wen't out at the weekend and found the shock on my 04 Marin Attack Trail is leaking air in a big way. As far as I can see, I have 3 options:
1 - Get the shock serviced and hope that fixes the problem
2 - Buy a used DHX 5 shock (assuming the seller still has it - need to get in touch)
3 - get a brand new shock, maybe an RP23?

What do you think would be best and why?

Cheers ๐Ÿ™‚

1) They service and fix it or tell you they can't, it's your cheapest option. - you could probably also get it tuned (PUSHed or revalved) if you wanted to have it tweaked to your preferences.
2) If it's the DHX air, "i'd" walk away, they don't have a great rep, though some owners love them (that my choice, you do what you want). The coils have a MUCH better reputation.
3) Best choice if you have the money, great shock, good performance, very reliable & light as buggery
