Hi guys,
My frames i2i is 8.5. The stroke length is 2.5.
My question is what happens if I use a shock with an i2i of only 8.2 but with the same stroke length?
Hope someone out there can help!
Regards,
Kasper
Edit: And I have tried searching ze interweb but with no succes.
Shorter eye to eye means that the bike will sit lower, so lower BB and will slacken it off at the same time. Might be a good thing to do depending on the bike, but check to make sure that the frame isn't going to whack itself at full travel. The difference is less than many of the offset bushings would make, so give it a try. What frame?
Thanks.
It is a Santa cruz Nomad mkI. Someone offered me a vivid air and I can get rid of my vivid coil at a good price aswell.
Im going to give it a go. Slightly slacker and lower bb wont hurt either ๐
