I swapped the stock X-Fusion on my Pitch comp to a DHX Air 5.0, did wonders.

It's a 200 i2i and 50mm stroke, I got mine from Mojo a couple of years ago in one of their spring sales, paid about £125 for an '08 model.

It really suited the Pitch when coupled with Fox Van 36 R's up front.

Gratuitous photo opportunity time 😆

If it's a Pitch Pro with an RP2, then you're wasting your time getting another air shock. A DHX won't perform any better. Coil would be the way forewards. I fancy a simple Vanilla R myself..... Just to try out! 🙂

It's 200x57 shock size, I got a 5th element for mine, which works a treat

I put an RP2 on mine to replace the clank-a-lank X Fusion and it was great. I then swapped it for a DHX 4 which was nice and plush but made the bike a little slower to climb. This became academic though as the bike then wemt single ring with 180 marzocchis and it now my downhill bike ;o)
