Can the eyelet direction of a Rockshox Deluxe Select+ be changed 90 degrees?

If yes does it involve more than unscrewing the shock body half a turn?

Couldn't find any specific info in the service manual or on google search.

Direction of rotation doesn't matter, it's not threaded

Are you trying to rotate the eyelet or the air can? If it's the eyelet, for fitting to a bike with a clevis, like an Ibis, just turn it 90° in whichever direction tickles your fancy.
