[Closed] Shipping wheels - best method for packaging

Assistance from the STW hive mind is required.

I have a pair of Mavic Aksium road wheels I want to sell (yes I know this is a mountain bike forum!) and my LBS very helpfully informed me that they keep all their wheels boxes and won't give them to plebs such as myself.
So, I was wondering if anyone had any helpful suggestions of how to package a pair of road wheels and make sure they arrive at their new home in the same condition they left me i.e. not looking like a pringle.

Any help/abuse/flaming gratefully recieved.
Do your worst...

find a better LBS to give you a wheel box.

Why should your LBS give you something for free, so you can make a profit - did you offer to buy them?

Otherwise use rubble sacks and duct-tape, and cardboard to double-wheel them.

Old wheelboxes. Am assuming you're selling because you upgraded? Else, go to your LBS and offer to pay them for one. Chances are they'll give you one for free.
