After last year with SO many scrapes, my shins are VERY thinly covered in skin - nothing to do with my age, ofcourse !! - so I desperately need protection this year that is bearable in the height of the summer too !
I've got some old knee / shin pads but they make me feel I should only go downhill and they are just too hot for the heat anyway.
Any lightweight recommendations guys ?

Seems like it'll do the job. Not proper protection but should keep away most of the scratches from the undergrowth. Cheap too.
