Got my old turner 5 spot built back up for the end of summer Lake District epics that I have planned.
I have put a one by eleven set up on with a xtr derailier. 2nd ride out and wharnscale downhill ate my mech.
The question is can you get a replacement part ( it's the top part of the mech that joins onto the mech hanger that I have bent) or have I learned not to buy expensive mechs to go biking in the lakes.

Go to Shimano techdocs http://si.shimano.com/
Find your derailleur on the list
Look at the exploded parts diagram if available
if part available write down part number
Go to lbs and they should be able to order from Madison
