Can just the cup bearings be replaced?
Does this impact on the life of these second fit bearings?
Any link to where I can get some from?

It's quite easy to do, done mine

There's instuctions here..you don't need a special tool. A pin punch and a couple of lumps of wood to support the cups are fine

mine are on the way out and need them to last another few rides till a new frame arrives
I dismantled them and regreased everything which has helped alot
