Looking to replace rings, anyone know difference between 6750 F series and G series ?
Colour?
I wondered about that but there is actually an F printed on existing one 'SG-X 50-F' but CRC have G series ones at a good price. Don't know if its a ramp position thing ?
G is glossy grey version
bike discount was less than £45 for a 50T a few weeks back . a lot cheaper than CRC .
Not 100% sure but might be a triple ring.
I know the bolt circles are the same but I think there is a slight variation in the ramps.
Might be worth checking with them as I know I had compatibility issues with them in the past.
Thanks,
Max
6750 is the Compact version of the 6700/6703 cranks. I think it's just a colour variation.
Thanks, I noticed on the shimano tech docs they are either 6750 or 6750 G, with the G being 'glossy' so dont know what the F is for ? Max, cheers, but they only come in doubles.
I previously used bike discount but had to return stuff and it was more hassle than CRC....
Thanks scotroutes, the CRC picture shows a printed stamp with same text as mine, incl F, but in black rather than white text, so think they are same, cheers.
Actually, I don't think it is colour.
Do you have a link to the G-type one?
The only G-type chainrings I can find on the madison b2b are 46t 110bcd outers for the CX50 and CX70 chainsets.
This is the CRC 'G'one
But here are the tech docs

With no mention of 'F'
This is the CRC 'G'one
That's an F-type
Simon, first line of the description on the CRC link :
"Genuine Shimano replacement part. For use with Shimano Ultegra FC-6750-G"
I am confused !
And here's the 'F' one :

I am confused !
That's the glossy grey version of the 6750 chainset.
Simon, thanks, I was editing to add in the sjs one that is described as F series when you posted
I have the retail packaging for an Ultegra crankset- the barcode sticker says FC-6750G 34x50, the tickboxes used when packing say this contained a glossy grey compact 50/34 crankset.
Ideal, will get one ordered, many thanks
