Shimano T47 bottom bracket

After less than ten rides - the last one being the only wet one - the bottom bracket on my new Sonder Camino has seized.

Removed the seals and full of rust and water. I've managed to clean out the worst of it, get them spinning and regreased but they are a little graunchy still.

Anyone any experience of these?  T47 is a new standard for me, but its just a different sized bearing in the end. I could try to source better bearings, but I'm tempted to just get a Hope one and be done with it.

Not overly impressed... and now I need yet another BB tool!

The BB is not actually branded - on the bike order which lists the parts it says Shimano so I'll take that as read.

Thanks for the offer Hobnob but I'm going to go with Hope I think - I've never had to replace any Hope BB Ive ever had so seems the safe option.

The one on my Trek Domane is a Praxis that I've had no issues with.
