Quick question - Are the trail versions with the little platforms any harder to clip out of?

Bought xtr trail pedals , have no issues clipping out , but find the major improvement over race spds is clipping In on the trail . Don't think I would ever use anything else .

no, but I found clipping in with race style shoes a touch more fiddly than race style shoes into non-cage shimanos (M520,M540 etc)

XT trails are great and CRC are selling them for £44.
