I have been given a 10spd M670 shifter but it doesn’t have a handle bar mount so presume it needs to be mounted to a brake? Can I buy just the handlebar mount for the shifter?

Yes, but unless you can find a 2nd hand one the mount is usually around £20 new.

M670 shifters have different bodies, I don't think you can convert an I-Spec to a band on.

Looks like my best option is to get another 10spd shifter. Any one have one going cheap??
