About to pull the trigger on some Shimano shoes. I've read that their sizing is considerably out. I normally wear a 44 in mt b shoes but the website says I should size up to a 45. Anyone got experience with Shimano shoes.
Cheers

I’m a 42/8 in adidas, north face, meindl, specialised, Shimano. All my mtb and road shoes are Shimano. The only exception being the winter boots which are a 43, though is a known thing for Shimano winter boots

I'm 45 and bought a 46

It's more comfy for walking (this was my impression at the store), but when it comes to push on the pedal I'd like a more firm shoe (esp if you go clipless).
Maybe Shimano is taking this into account ad their sizing is right

All my shoes, trainers and boots are 43 or 43.5.

My summer Shimano m089 are 43.

My winter Shimano MW5 are 44 and a fat pair of socks.

Similar experience here, I think I had to go up two sizes with my road shoes.

I go up 1 Euro size with shimano.
I have wide feet and they are good for my flippers.
