Probably a dumb question but cant find the nut to loosen off the clamp. Looked in the instructions shimano supply and it says that there is a 5mm allen bolt there but i cant access it, or see it. I have had tiagra levers before that i havent had problems with.

Facing the shifter/bars from the front, on the outside (95% sure) lift the rubber grip up so you can slide the allen key down into the bolt, about the same height as the clamp.
