As my old shoes slowly died last year I decided to replace them with a pair of MP66 shoes in black. They looked perfect for SPD trail riding and occasional silly stuff (I've got 647 pedals, SPD with a platform). Haven't done much riding over the winter so my old shoes kept me going and now I find that the MP66 is only available in white.
WHITE?! My practical side can't understand why I would want to take white shoes into a regular mudfest and my conservative (ok, cr@p) fashion sense can't quite make the leap to wearing white shoes outside of a 10k run.
So any recommended alternatives? Any shops with a secret stash of the black ones? Or do I just MTFU and take the ridicule my wife is going to give me when I wear white shoes biking?
Where some pink shorts to draw attention away from the shoes. Problem solved.
They don't stay whit for very long, so just get them. On the other hand, they clean off quite easily so if you want them white, just get the hose on them. Great shoes.
