Will that combo work?I was told it may be dodgy due to differing master cylinder sizes between levers.Anyone try it?

I've used M975 levers with M965 calipers - worked fine, so piston ratios must be similar.

I had a failed older xtr m980 lever and the local bike shop checked with the shimano rep and the only ones they said had volume issues were the zee and saint. Otherwise levers and calipers should be interchangeable.
