Hi all . I've bought a new front mech for my 10 speed dyna sys shimano set up and it's arrived today. Only thing is the box and instructions mention it's a mega9 mech and mention 9 speed chains only. It's a FD-M770 top swing which I thought was 10 speed though. Does anyone know if it's compatible or if I've bought the wrong thing what should I have bought?

There are two types of FD-M770. The original one is 9 speed and it sounds like you have this version. The newer one is denoted FD-M770-10 which is the ten speed model.
